We have an AWESOME last week planned for our full-year dancers! For those who participate in our classes age 7+ at the studio (this applies to all Junior, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, and Senior classes), you are invited to join in our “Spirit of Christmas” Days! Pop by for a class or two, or all three days! Here is our age 7-12 schedule for Dec. 17-19

Let us keep your kids active and entertained on their day off!!! Professional Learning Day Camps include fitness/stretch, games, dancing, yoga, crafts, bonding time with friends, creative play options, and a Karma project component where the kids work on something that gives back to our community!

You do not need prior dance experience so these Camps are open to anyone in the community! Early Bird discounts are available, and ask about our sibling discounts if you have more than one child interested in attending.

All campers are required to bring nut-free snacks and/or lunch, wear comfy clothes, and a water bottle. We do have a microwave and fridge on site if necessary.

CAMP TIMES:

  • Age 5-6, Age 7-9, or Age 10-12 Half Days (AM or PM)

    • 9:00-11:45am OR 12:15-3:00pm

This Spring Party is for anyone in the community age 3-6 and will include a fun-filled afternoon of games, dancing, crafts, a hunt, face-paint and tattoos, and more - all Spring and Easter themed!!! Drop your little one off and enjoy the afternoon while we keep them entertained and having fun, meeting new friends!!!

***All participants should bring a nut-free lunch/snacks, a water bottle (with their name on it), comfy clothes, and indoor shoes!

This will be a 3 hour party and the cost is $30/participant.

Harlem Globetrotters Halftime Performance for AGE 5+

We are SO excited to announce that we've been asked to perform as the Halftime Show at the Harlem Globetrotters Game on Saturday March 9 at WinSport!!! This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity for our dancers. We will prepare a fun, upbeat 4-min performance with dancers ranging from age 5-18. Styles will include Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics and your dancers will get to perform in front of a huge audience and our family and friends!

COST: $125/dancer (which includes the performance, rehearsals, a performance shirt, and practice videos). Discounted tickets will be purchased through the studio's group rate. ;)

Viewing Week (for all classes)!

We are welcoming all parents and families to pop in to watch your dancer’s class(es) during the week of December 4 to 9. Feel free to come for the whole class, or just pop in quietly for whatever you can! This is a chance for your dancers to show off what they've been learning, cheer them on, meet the teacher, maybe enter in some prize draws, and more!!!

For those attending Viewing Week at the studio in Springbank, please note that our Competitors will also have a Bake Sale going on so please bring your pocket change! ;)

Things to keep in mind during Viewing Week:

  • While some students may thrive with an audience in the room, it may be very overwhelming for others. So while we want to show them off, we are also very compassionate to those who may not be willing to participate fully (especially for our youngest ones...parents you can always get up and participate with them!)

  • We do ask that all those attending are respectfully of the class & studio rules (including but not limited to removing outdoor shoes, powering off or turning devices to silent, minimal talking during the lesson, etc.)

  • If the dancers are showing off a combo or individuals skills or if you feel the urge, we strongly encourage clapping and cheering!!

  • Please ensure you are only attending and viewing a class if you are healthy and free of illness.

  • Lastly, there may be photos/videos taken during Viewing Week and those in the audience may be in the picture ;) If taking your own photos, please ensure you have the approval of any other parents of children included prior to sharing or posting any photos.

Lilac Fest Performance AGE 5+

Dancers age 5+ have an incredible opportunity to learn some new, fun, crowd pleasing routines that they get to perform in front of a huge audience on the 18 Avenue and 4 Street Dance Stage, at Lilac Fest!!! This is a wonderful chance to get to connect with other dancers, learn new choreography, and perform for fun!!!

The package includes your lessons/rehearsals, performance, performance shirt, and a ton of memories!!!

Styles may include (but are not limited to) Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acro, Musical Theatre, etc.! Only requirement is that you're age 5+ (by May 1, 2023) and a current student at the studio or in one of our programs. :)

PLEASE NOTE: Our performance time is TBD but we'll be asking the dancers to meet on location at 30min ahead of time. As well, we will prepare a rehearsal schedule soon and offer a variety of times to try and accommodate everyone. Lastly, as the performance is up to 15min in length, your dancer may only be included in a portion of the show and we may have a few different groups taking turns performing, depending on lesson availability, etc.

The cost to participate is $150/performer, which includes the performance, rehearsals, and performance shirt.

  • We do ask that all those attending are respectfully of the class & studio rules (including but not limited to removing outdoor shoes, powering off or turning devices to silent, minimal talking during the lesson, etc.)

  • If the dancers are showing off a combo or individuals skills or if you feel the urge, we strongly encourage clapping and cheering!!

  • Please ensure you are only attending and viewing a class if you are healthy and free of illness.

  • Lastly, there may be photos/videos taken during Viewing Week and those in the audience may be in the picture ;)

"Howl-o-ween Bash" for AGE 3-6

We are hosting a Halloween Party for all dancers and friends age 3-6 at the studio! This afternoon will include games, dancing, singing, crafts, a costume parade, glow-stick dance party, and MORE!!! Your little one can dress up in their Halloween costumes or an outfit of their choice and we’ll have a blast partying together, with just enough time to go home and fuel up for a night of trick-or-treating!

We are hosting a Community Night for all dancers and friends age 7-12 at the studio! This evening will include games, dancing, pizza/popcorn, and a movie on the big projector screen!!! Participants are encouraged to either wear their Halloween costumes or PJs and can bring their pillows/blankets/etc.!

Easter "Egg-stravanganza" for AGE 3-6

This Spring Party is for anyone in the community age 3-6 and will include a fun-filled afternoon of games, dancing, crafts, a hunt, face-paint and tattoos, and more - all Spring and Easter themed!!! Drop your little one off and enjoy the afternoon while we keep them entertained and having fun, meeting new friends!!!

***All participants should bring a nut-free lunch/snacks, a water bottle (with their name on it), comfy clothes, and indoor shoes!

This will be a 3 hour party and the cost is $30/participant.

We are hosting a night for Age 5+ at the studio to either join our (family friendly) Movie Night or just hang out with friends!!! There will be pizza and we will also offer other games, activities, and crafts for those who don't want to stick to the movie. ;)
