Trial Class Knowledge Centre
We are SO excited for your dancer to come and try a class! Please check out the list below for helping to prepare for your Trial, or if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to MissMikki@SpringbankDancers.com.
What time should we arrive?
- Please plan to arrive apporximately 10min prior to the class. We would love the opportunity to show you around and answer any questions you might have :)
What do we do upon arrival?
- Please head in the front door at 3, 110 Commercial Drive. If your trial class is later in the evening and the main door is locked, please try the code 5678 (and then press enter). ;)
- Once inside, you'll place your outdoor shoes on the racks provided, please use the hand sanitizer as requested, and then follow the areas to line up for your quick temperature.
- We ask that all participants review the COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire prior to entering and ensure you are wearing a mask through the common areas (please check out our COVID-19 Guidelines and Procedures)
- One of our lovely staff members will be expecting you - please just tell them your name and let them know that you're here for a trial!
What do I wear?
- Please just come in something comfy or athletic and don't worry about the rest for now!
- If you are trialing an ACRO class, please be sure your attire is more fitted and your shirt won't flip above your head - bare feet is great though!
- For BALLET, if you have a leotard and tights or even ballet shoes, that's great, but otherwise barefeet and something comfy is good.
- For HIP HOP, please bring clean, indoor runners if you have them.
- For TAP, if you don't have Tap shoes, please mention that to the front desk upon arrival and we can see if we have a pair to lend you for the class. Otherwise, indoor runners is great!
What else should I bring?
- A waterbottle!! We have a filtered bottle filler available but your own waterbottle is great. Otherwise, just your positive attitude and you're good to go!
- Oh, did you sign the Participant Waiver ahead of time?
Am I (the parent/caregiver) allowed to watch the class?
- Unfortunately at this time, we are not permitted for parents to remain in the studio during class. If this restriction gets lifted then we do have Viewing TVs in our Common Areas and would love to allow you to view your dancer and the class there.
- For our younger dancers, we do ask that you remain close to the studio so that if your little one needs or requests you, that you are able to pop in as permitted.
Is there a cost or anything required for my participation?
- For new clients, we would love to offer you a week of trial classes FOR FREE. This is to ensure you get to experience a variety of styles if you're interested, and ensure we're the right fit for your dancer. ;)
- Please just be sure to sign the Participant Waiver ahead of time.
Are there any COVID-19 Procedures in place?
- You bet, safety is our trop priority. Our COVID-19 Guidelines and Procedures can be found.
- If you would like to request any exceptions to our requirements, please ensure the office is contacted and something is agreed upon prior to your class.
